University of Wisconsin Garden Facts are a new publication series under development by the Urban Horticulture Team of UW-Extension.
Garden Facts are designed to be user-friendly for home gardeners. They are short, concise and easy to read, with an emphasis on answers to questions that homeowners often ask about horticulture issues. The series is envisioned as ultimately having titles on the 100 most common horticulture issues.
Garden Facts are also designed to be user-friendly for commercial horticulturists. We have incorporated areas on the fact sheets where commercial horticulturists can add personal information about their businesses. The boxed area in the upper right corner of each fact sheet can be used for a business logo, and information about the local county Extension offices can be included in the boxed area at the bottom of each fact sheet.
Garden Facts are available to download and print in Microsoft Word or Acrobat PDF Formats.
**NOTICE** It has been brought to our attention that there is an incompatibility problem with some computers when trying to read the PDF files. This typically occurs when someone is trying to open the file in Internet Explorer on a computer running Windows NT4.0. We have been trying to fix the problem for weeks, but have been unsuccessful. If you are having problems reading the PDF files, you may view them by downloading them to your computer. This can be done by right-clicking while hovering over the words 'PDF FILE', then selecting 'Save target As...'. Or, you may open the file directly using the Netscape Internet browser.
